This course is designed to enable students to develop an awareness and understanding of the technical and creative aspects of photography in advertising and the promotional industry. Students develop skills in the reproduction and manipulation of photographic images through digital means. It supports COMA 251, 253 & 252 as a referencing and recording source. Students also demonstrate an understanding of studio lighting effects while applying the technical principles of photographic lighting in different photographic genres in both a historical and cultural context.
